ABOUT THE DMLT COURSE

The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) focuses on the laboratory procedures used in medical testing and diagnosis. Students learn how clinical samples are collected, handled and analysed to support accurate diagnostic decisions.

The course covers core laboratory areas such as specimen handling, microscopy, hematology, microbiology and clinical biochemistry, as applicable to the approved curriculum. Training combines classroom learning with hands-on laboratory practice using professional equipment.
